Bougie! Make me want to hold up my pinky finger when getting salt.

First of all the salt box is beautiful and make of nice rosewood. The swivel lid rotates very smooth and the magnetic lock is a nice touch to keep everything close from pest. So far I haven't encounter any moisture issue. I'm using it for Himalayan Pink Salt and have not see any clumping issues. Its a great presentation piece on the dinning table when guest need a bit extra salt on their food.

Didn’t know how much I needed this!

This salt cellar is such a nice little upgrade. It smelled amazing right out of the box—like fresh wood (I wish that lasted lol). The grain is beautiful and feels smooth and well-made. It holds a good amount of salt without taking up much space, and the included spoon is super convenient. The swivel lid is one of my favorite features. It opens smoothly with one hand and the magnetic closure keeps it in place so you’re not dealing with a loose lid. I also like that it’s way easier to control how much salt you’re using compared to a regular shaker—you can just pinch or scoop exactly what you need without overdoing it.The engraved bottom and non-slip pads are small details, but they make it feel more premium. Functional and aesthetic—definitely a kitchen upgrade.

Really nice salt box with a decent spoon and satisfying magnetic swivel top

TLDR: This is a great addition to a kitchen countertop to hold salt in an aesthetic way. Everything about it is useful and works well in the kitchen.- The package I received included the salt box, a thank you note, and an ad for more of the seller's products.- The salt box itself is made really well for the price point with no apparent places being unsanded or with splinters present.- The magnetic swivel lid is satisfying and easy to use. Plus, it feels like it won't break over time.- The spoon inside isn't an exact measurement, but is easily adaptable (depending on your salt size).- It can hold a respectable amount of salt, so refilling frequently won't be an issue.- The wood feels good quality and is oiled appropriately (at least on the outside).

Beauty and Function

This beautifully crafted salt cellar is a huge upgrade from seasoning my dishes by shaking a grocery store container with a collapsible spout. Just seeing it on my counter makes me feel like I'm a more accomplished and credible cook! The rosewood grain is rich with a beautiful finish. The swivel top rotates smoothly and returns to its closed, magnetized position with a gentle click. The thoughtful inclusion of four small rubber pads on the bottom assures that the cellar stays put and stable. And of course, the sweet little spoon - - which nestles under the top in two dedicated hollows. This is an attractive and practical addition to my kitchen, with a warm and tasteful touch.

A perfect addition for anyone who cooks

Wood spoon is 1/4 teaspoon and salt cellar holds 2/3 cup of salt. I use pretzel grain sea salt and love this one. The magnetic seal closes nicely and is precision quality rosewood for a lifetime of use. The non slip pads on bottom hold firm and will not scratch anything. Most salt cellar's do not have a spoon and this prevents cross contamination. These are going to make great gifts. at a great price.

Beautiful and handy

Really cool little cellar. The wood is a rich red/brown color with really pretty grain. It holds a surprising amount (I put sugar in it instead of salt but same diff). I really like how it has grooves on the inside to hold the spoon because otherwise I'd definitely lose it. But you open it up and it's right there, which is convenient. It has a *very* small neodymium magnet closure but I question how much it really does. Either way the top stays closed. The wood has kind of a weird smell... it's very faint, but it's not great. Doesn't bother me much though, I've been using it all week to put sugar in my tea. The one thing I think the manufacturer should consider changing is that on the top of the lid you can see the bare top of the Phillips head **** that's the hinge. Maybe put a little cover on that. Other than that I absolutely love how this looks and functions. Oh, and the spoon is super cute.

Nicely made

Adorable. I love the dark wood in this cellar. It is the perfect size for one person because it’s on the small size. What I love is the built in spoon so you have a place to tuck it away. The lid is on a swivel and closes pretty securely with a magnetic closure. The only thing with this is it might take two hands to open because of the swivel. But I really like the magnet to help pull it shut and keep it securely closed.

Beautifully Made of Gorgeous Polished Rosewood with Magnetic Closure & Spoon. Great Deal!

This SaltWise Wooden Salt Cellar is beautifully made out of rosewood, which is usually reserved for high-end furniture. It is expertly carved and polished, with the lovely red-brown grain patterns characteristic of rosewood. It comes with a cute little polished spoon that neatly sits within two carved notches on top, ready for use. The lid swivels and has a magnetic closure on the opposite side, which closes the top quite neatly and securely. This is a very well-made piece, fashioned out of gorgeous rosewood, which is usually reserved for luxury items. It is also quite practical, with the swivel lid, magnetic closure, and the little spoon that rests neatly on top. There is no possibility of knocking the lid off or spilling through the lid. And the spoon allows for easing dispensing, while it sits, neatly out of the way of the contents. This is a very functional and beautiful salt cellar! The instructions correctly point out that the wood is not dishwasher safe and should be renewed periodically with a coating of food safe oil like walnut oil or tung oil. This beautiful rosewood piece will need to be carefully wiped down by hand and dried quickly, and given proper care, like the belle that it is.I decided to use mine to store pepper. The included spoon will be of no use in measuring the spice, as it has no measurement. Most of the world measures salt and spices by weight, not volume. But that’s no biggie. I absolutely love the pattern of the rosewood grain! (The photos do not capture the back part, which is even more beautiful!). The swivel lid is very handy, and the magnetic closure really does keep the lid securely closed. I’m really going to enjoy using this salt (er, pepper) cellar!Wooden salt cellars with swivel lids can be had for anywhere from $5 (bamboo) to $37 (olive wood). Most seem to be made of acacia wood and cost $10 to $20. This is the only rosewood salt cellar I saw. At the list price of $14.99, this salt cellar is priced about average. Given that it is made of rosewood, high quality and nicely polished, and that it comes with a spoon, this salt cellar is a great deal!If this rosewood salt cellar sings to you, by all means, buy it! It is quite beautifully made, out of a luxury wood that one rarely sees used for mass produced kitchen items. (Acacia wood is much more common and more durable.) It is very reasonably priced for what it is. And with a swivel lid, magnetic closure, and included spoon, it is as practical and functional as it is gorgeous! Pass the salt!

Makes a Big Difference

I didn't think this would make such a big difference in my daily life, but it does! It's that little moment of wondering and finding the salt that has been eliminated for me. I love having the salt ready with a spoon whenever I may need it. It truly is the little things that make the biggest difference. The "Salt Celler" is quite durable and sturdy; it doesn't feel plasticy or cheap. The lid opens and closes very smoothly. Having a magnetic lid makes the process even more effortless. There were no stray wood splinters; the finish is smooth. I love the color of the wood as well; it just has such a strong color to it that matches my aesthetic perfectly. You could really use it for anything, salt, msg, pepper, sugar, it is quite versatile.

A perfect pinch with a tiny twist

If you love cooking, you know that timing is everything. This wooden salt cellar brings an earthy, rustic charm to your countertop while keeping your favorite seasoning exactly where you need it. It boasts a handsome design and a perfectly sized well that holds plenty of salt without hogging valuable counter space. The real star of the show, however, is the magnetic closure. It allows for quick, satisfying, one-handed access right in the middle of a high-heat sauté.While it is almost the perfect kitchen companion, it did require a tiny bit of DIY out of the box. The swivel lid arrived a little too tight, making it stiff to open. Fortunately, a quick adjustment with a screwdriver on the main lid **** loosened things up perfectly. Once fine-tuned, the glide became incredibly smooth while still maintaining that secure, magnetic snap shut.To get the most out of this cellar, try keeping it right next to your stove filled with coarse kosher salt so you can easily season steaks or pasta water on the fly. If you already have a salt shaker you love, this container also works beautifully at a coffee station for holding raw sugar, or on a prep table for storing whole peppercorns and dried herbs.

Excellent quality, super practical

Very practical wooden salt cellar. I love that the top is attached and swivels, makes it super easy to use. Very practical and stylish. The spoon is tiny and fits perfectly in the cellar. Sadly, I already lost the tiny spoon, but that’s on me. The wood is fantastic quality, very nicely made. Excellent quality materials used, stylish and appealing, very well worth it.

Beautiful wooden salt box with attached spoon

The wooden salt box with an attached spoon is an impressive gadget: The wood feels incredibly smooth and high quality, and the design is both practical and beautiful. The spoon being attached to the lid is such a simple but thoughtful detail and makes grabbing salt effortless. It’s one of those small upgrades that makes everyday moments feel a little more special.

Cute little salt cellar

I do like this salt cellar; the magnetic closure is a nice touch and it holds a good amount of salt. However, the exposed **** hinge gives it a somewhat unfinished look, and the little spoon just gets in the way (for me, at least). When I first opened it, I wiped it down with a damp paper towel, and a red dye was picked up. Do what you want with that information, but that's what happened. The quality is okay and it does work! Just keep your expectations on the low side.

Love this salt cellar!

Love this little salt cellar. Sometimes its easier to spoon salt than shake it out of the box and accidentally overdo it, and this works out perfectly. The built-in spoon is a good thought so you don't have to dirty utensils every time, and the quality of the wood itself is good, it feels solid and well-made. The spinning lid is held shut by a small magnet, so it doesn't open on accident if you tilt it the wrong way. It looks nice enough to keep on the counter, and is definitely useful!

Nicely made

This is a well-made nice wood salt cellar. The lid swivels open and closed with ease, a small magnet to keep it in place helps it stay closed. It’s easy to use with one hand while cooking. The size is a little big for a spice rack but nice for counter top or stove-side. The finish on the outside is beautiful and the small spoon with its own storage is a nice touch.Love this for my kitchen!

Beautiful, Functional, and Great for Everyday Use

This salt cellar is a nice upgrade for keeping seasoning within easy reach while cooking. The wooden design looks great on the counter and adds a warm, natural touch without feeling bulky or out of place. It feels well made and sturdy, not like something that will wear out quickly. The magnetic swivel lid works smoothly and makes it easy to open with one hand while cooking. It stays securely closed when needed but flips open effortlessly when you need a quick pinch. The built in spoon is a thoughtful addition and makes measuring or sprinkling more convenient.Overall, this is a simple but well designed kitchen accessory that combines style with practicality. It keeps things organized and accessible while also looking good on display. A great addition if you cook regularly and want something both functional and visually appealing.

I'm all kinds of fancy now

I feel quite elegant now with my salt cellar. I have a spacious pantry where I used to store my coarse salt, but I often forgot to take it out when I was cooking. Now, I keep this beautiful wooden salt cellar on my countertop, and I never forget to use it.I'm not one to keep up with the latest trends, but whenever I visited friends' houses and saw their charming little salt cellars, I would always exclaim, "Oh! The fancy salt!" Now, I feel just as sophisticated. The small, delicate spoon makes it convenient to serve the salt without sticking fingers into the container. It rests securely in grooves on the top of the lid, ensuring it doesn't get in the way when closing the lid. The wooden design of the salt cellar not only helps prevent moisture from entering but also adds an elegant touch to my kitchen counter. Made from rich rosewood, the dark, polished finish complements any kitchen decor beautifully. It’s easy to clean—simply wipe it with a damp cloth, and it comes away spotless without stains or marks. Please note, this salt cellar is not dishwasher safe, as the instructions clearly state. To maintain its pristine condition, it’s recommended to occasionally apply a food-grade oil to nourish and preserve the beautiful wood finish.

High Quality ... Beautifully Crafted ...

I've been wanting a salt cellar for some time now ... I use a French Grey sea salt multiple times daily and just wanted a proper storage whose quality matches that of the salt I use ... and with this product I believe I've found just that ... it's more beautiful than I imagined ... packaged well enough for a special gifting ... the rosewood is beautiful and thankfully , although the outside of the cellar is nicely polished and stained , the inside where the salt resides retains the raw wood finish .. just seems more food safe for me ... the size and feel is just right ... and again the bowl and bonus spoon are beautifully crafted ... I'm a bit suspicious that the swivel lid won't be as durable as the bowl and may have issues in the future - but right now as it arrived it fits and secures just beautifully and functions exactly as it should ... I'm just really pleased with this product ... I think that considering the look and quality of the rosewood and the crafting that it's offered at a value price ... I love having this on hand and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others ...

Elegant Little Container That Solves a Real Problem—Though Capacity Is Limited

The SaltWise Wooden Salt Cellar combines beautiful craftsmanship with practical everyday use, offering odor control and easy access, though its compact size limits storage capacity. This one came into our home with a very specific mission—contain the chicken-flavored probiotics we give Rudy. The smell is strong, and our three cats have a sixth sense for finding anything remotely food-related. Bags, containers, hiding spots… nothing was safe. Until this.Since moving the probiotics into this container, the problem has essentially disappeared. The lid seals well enough to noticeably reduce the smell, and for the first time we’ve been able to leave it on the kitchen counter without it being torn apart by our feline inspectors. That alone makes this a win.The build quality is excellent. The rosewood has a rich, polished look that feels far more premium than the price suggests. It doesn’t feel like a throwaway kitchen accessory—it actually adds a bit of class to the countertop.Functionally, it’s simple and effective. The magnetic swivel lid works smoothly and allows easy one-handed access, which is especially helpful when cooking or handling other items. The included spoon is a nice touch and keeps everything clean and contained. There are tradeoffs, however. The capacity is relatively small at 4.5 oz, so while it’s perfect for things like salt, spices, or our probiotic use case, it won’t hold larger quantities.Additionally, as with most wood products, it requires basic care—no dishwasher, and occasional oiling if you want to keep it looking its best long-term.This works best for anyone looking for a compact, attractive storage solution for frequently used ingredients—or, in our case, something that can outsmart a determined group of cats.Overall, this SaltWise container delivers both form and function, solving a real problem while looking great doing it.✔️ Pros:• Effectively reduces strong odors• Magnetic lid works smoothly and stays closed• Beautiful rosewood finish• Compact and countertop-friendly• Includes spoon for clean use❌ Cons:• Limited capacity• Requires basic wood maintenance• Spoon not ideal for precise measuring⁉️ Why 5 Stars? Because it solved a very real, ongoing problem in a simple and elegant way, while also delivering quality materials and thoughtful design.👨‍⚖️ Final Verdict: A small but surprisingly effective and beautifully made container that keeps contents secure, reduces odor, and adds a touch of class to the kitchen—while quietly defeating even the most determined cats. Paws-Up Approved. Five Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🐾
